As part of the Arts Week organized by the school's BDA, the library is offering a lecture on Balkan music by members of the Tar'Taraf Fanfare. The lecture will be accompanied by live musical extracts. It will focus on the different aksake rhythms (rhythms with odd subdivisions) characteristic of Balkan music, enabling participants to discover part of the musical repertoire of the Balkan peninsula.
