Jean Cotinaud

Former gymnast, then windsurfing instructor, he enjoys climbing, paragliding and cycling on campus (with electric assistance!).  After studying at the University of Paris 10 Nanterre, he has been teaching since 1984 in Paris and then in Lyon where he arrived in 1991 at the creation of the Cité Scolaire Internationale de Gerland where he took over the coordination of the EPS teaching team.  Appointed in 1998 to the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, he is in charge of sports teaching, is in charge of the sports department and is the director of the sports association.  He participates within the School in various bodies: Professional EU Council, Council of the Communication - Languages - Business - Sports Department (CLES), has been part of the Study Council and has participated in many working groups (evaluation of teaching, skills grid, etc.).  In addition to his teaching, he is a PCP tutor and a regular tutor for study and industrial projects.
