To apply for a M.Sc., the student must either:
 have a B.Sc.'s-level degree
 have an engineering degree
 have a resume deemed to be comparable in level
 be in their final year at certain engineering schools

Third year students in Centrale Lyon can, in parallel with their 3rd year, undertake a M.Sc.. M.Sc. registration requires approval from the Central Lyon teacher in charge of the M.Sc..
