The big American universities have been attracting Centrale Lyon students since as long back as the early 80s. Our students now have the possibility of doing their 3rd year as an MSc in the States. Penn State, Cornell, M.I.T., Stanford, Duke, Georgia Tech, UCLA, and Caltech are among the top American universities where our students efforts are crowned with success.

Research partnerships have existed for many years. Pr. John Lumley was Centrale Lyon's very first Doctor in Honoris Causa, and teacher exchanges are now being arranged on a regular basis.
